Season Programme Notes (Links to download the draws are at the bottom of these notes ) There have been the following changes: U13 Grade Division Withdrawal of the Northern Districts team. This has created a bye. The competition has also been reduced from 10 rounds to 9 rounds by turning the two scheduled one-day games on Jan 7th and Jan 14th into a two-day game. This has been done so that each team only has one bye for the season and so that each side plays everyone once. U13 Community East Division Withdrawal of the two Eastern Suburbs teams. Inclusion of Athelstone and Hope Valley Blue teams. The draw has been partially re-done. U13 Community North Division Athelstone and Hope Valley Blue have been moved to the Community East Division. The draw has been completely re-done. U11 Community East Division No change. U11 Community North Division Withdrawal of Eastern Suburbs 6 team. Has removed the bye and also the need to split the final round. Returns to a ten round competition, as initially intended. The draw has been partially re-done. Can you please make sure that all players, coaches and parents are aware of these changes? I realise that many will have already received the first draw that was sent out so there will be some confusion, especially in the first round or two. Thank you for your patience. As was requested at one of our delegate's meetings we have used location of the clubs to work out the divisions. Eg if Golden Grove has two U11 teams they will both be in Community U11 North, rather than splitting them over the two divisions and having lots of travelling. In the U11 North division we have changed the last round (Round 10) to two one-day games rather than a two-day game. As there are eleven teams in the division this allows all teams to have one bye and to play all the other teams once so it is fairer. As yet we do not have Eastern Suburbs three U11 ovals yet and have left these as TBA 1, TBA 2 and TBA 3 in the program so that it can be easily changed. We expect to confirm venues shortly and will update the website later this week. We have not programmed any Friday or Saturday night matches even though a few clubs have indicated that they would like to play some. We think this is a fantastic idea and encourage all clubs to participate should you have the chance, but feel it's easiest to leave that up to the individual clubs to arrange with their opposition as and when oval availability make these types of game possible.
